Rewind to early 2019 and all of the above was pretty much me in a nutshell, believe it or not. I prayed that I would get sick just so I could take a day off without feeling guilty. I would work 12 hours days, weekends and avoid calls with my mom, so that I could focus on my business.
I felt like this was the only way.
I was burnt out & heading into a depressive episode.
I spent hours creating content, getting caught up in every DM, drowning in self doubt and confusion. I didn’t even want to OPEN my inbox anymore because I was so overwhelmed and disconnected from why I was even doing this work.
I was running on empty.
But despite all of that, I couldn’t slow down.
It wasn't until I started strengthening my relationship with my spirituality, diving deeper into my own psyche, values and mission that I was able to make decisions that felt aligned with me instead of listening to what other people in the industry were saying.
I rewired beliefs, tapped into my gifts, started trusting myself, stepped into my power, implemented simple, streamlined systems so I could work SMARTER not HARDER.
So I could actually, you know, enjoy the freedom I was working so hard for instead of being tied to a desk for 60 hours a week and not making any money or impact.
I got back to the basics of knowing WHO THE FUCK I am and what I'M HERE TO DO!
